"Hey."

I turned around and there he was standing. His deep seated eyes looking straight at me.

"Hey." I tried to conceal the emotions battling inside of me.

"How are you?"

"I was good till now." I thought to myself. "I'm great." I then looked away from his eyes.

"Can we talk?"

"Aren't we?" I sounded kind of pissed.

"Are you mad at me?"

"Mad about what?" I was trying to sound oblivious. My heart started to pound. Oh no, not the tears. I was begging myself to stop my tears from falling.

"You know what, I have to go. I have to meet someone." I then walked away. Without turning back.

I had to make an excuse. I almost did not finish the sentence wiithout my voice starting to crack. Then, I just let tears pour like there's no tomorrow.

"Some people you left behind in the past will always find their way to chase you." I thought to myself.
